Care feels different when you know who is guiding it
The Food Allergy Clinic is not an anonymous online program or a fly-in destination. It is a local specialty program within Paris Asthma & Allergy Centers, where care is built around continuity, clear communication, and respect for each patient’s real life.
Patients work with a named physician and an experienced clinical team who understand that food allergy decisions can affect the whole household. The goal is for patients to feel heard, informed, and confident about the path forward—whether that path includes The Paris OIT Program or another food allergy care plan.
Dr. Jason C. Paris,MD
Dr. Jason C. Paris, MD leads The Food Allergy Clinic and Paris Asthma & Allergy Centers. His medical and personal connection to allergy care shapes a patient-first approach to complex food allergy questions.
Dr. Paris earned a master’s degree in physiology from Georgetown University and his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed internal medicine residency training in San Francisco and an Allergy & Immunology fellowship at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. As an allergy sufferer himself, he understands that allergic disease is not always a simple medical fact; it can change how people move through daily life. At The Food Allergy Clinic, he personally supervises every OIT up-dose and guides candidacy and treatment decisions.
Specialty care, close to home
The Food Allergy Clinic is a specialty program of Paris Asthma & Allergy Centers, a Southeast Michigan practice founded in 1966 by Dr. S. William Paris, MD. That history matters because food allergy care should remain connected to the wider allergy and asthma care a patient may need.
Paris Asthma & Allergy Centers serves children and adults in Livonia and Brighton and is a Henry Ford Health affiliate. The practice values—Courtesy. Competence. Compassion.—set the standard for how care should feel. For OIT patients, that means physician-led supervision, a clear safety routine, and the ability to stay close to home instead of building care around repeated long-distance travel.
